Born and raised in Ballyfermot, Dublin, where I learned to work hard, laugh often and never take life too seriously. I studied Law in Trinity College Dublin, and after graduation, I found myself drawn into the world of Risk and Compliance, a move that ended up significantly shaping the next few years of my life, in more ways than one!

 

I’ve known my husband Darren for most of my life. We met at 16, became best friends before anything else, and somehow managed to grow up together in all the best ways. We married in 2016 and have been writing our story, chapter by chapter, side by side, ever since.

 

Fast forward to February 2020, just weeks before the world turned upside down, my career moved us to our favourite city in the world: New York. We survived a global pandemic, made memories we’ll talk about forever and grew our little family by one one-eyed mini poodle called Líle (‘Lee-le’). Looking back, we can honestly say we lived our New York dream to the fullest. No regrets.
 

Somewhere between the day job, exploring NYC, being a wife and a pawrent, my other baby arrived: Ealu™. Co-founded with my business partner Susan Fox and launched in 2024 after years of plotting, testing, tweaking and obsessing… Ealu is our love letter to slowing down and finding those tiny moments of calm in the middle of the chaos. 

 

Now, after almost 6 years in NYC, we’re swapping yellow taxis for palm trees and starting a new chapter in Florida. So life right now looks like: my day job, building Ealu, being a wife and pawrent and sharing the bits in between online. This little space is where I plan for all of that to come together - what I’m loving, learning and figuring out as I go.
